Resolution by Morning

by Symera   Jul 24, 2007

Her hear paces rapidly,
thoughts racing frantically.
Grasping and clawing.
Got to find a resolution by morning.

Numb to the outside world.
Labled psychotic girl.
Got to beat that rep tonight.
Going to make the pain alright.

Slash of the wrists.
She still exists.

Numbing.

Numbing.

Pain numbing.
Mind numbing.
Got to find a resolution by morning.

Nothings enough.
Everything's too much.
Can't pray to save her soul.
Damnation takes its toll.

Final thoughts of suicide.
The body's final joyride.

Time is ticking
... tick tocking.
Got to find a resolution by morning.

A bottle of pain ending.
Her way of soul mending.
Two popped in
then multiplied by ten.

Standing on stilts as the room spins.

Twisted and distorted.

Closer to the resolution by morning.

Stumble to the bed.
Collapse on the floor.
Slow-motion...
...slower...

She thinks
in her fog of a mind,
"I am nothing"
"I am NOTHING,
but a perfect pretender."

"I am nothing."
Her last words
are
nothing
drifting into the resolution by moring.
