My Final Good-Bye (Collab)

My Final Goodbye.
A Poem By: Broken Wings,
and Crystal Gaze.

We had a chance and I threw it away
I feel so stupid today
I let you go, I cut you out
Now it's over without a doubt

I'll lie in my bed
And try to get you out of my head
Think of something other then you
But it's something I can't do

I just don't get it I don't know why
I feel so sad when we say goodbye
And every time I let you go
My love for you only grows

I will not lie to you
My life is barren, it's true
So perhaps I made a mistake
One that causes my heart to break

Why did I let you go?
If I love you so?
Was it fear in itself?
Weakness that summoned me to hell?

If only I could go back in time
Then we could both shine
If only you could see the best of me
Then maybe you wouldn't have let me leave.

Why didn't you stop me at the door
Why did you not see my tears that poor
I know it didn't show outside
But on the inside I cried

And is there a point to ask
Can we even unmask
All the things we never said
Why must these tears shed

Can I not have, but one more taste
Of the lips that make my heart race
Or will you slowly watch me die
Fade away, with heart wrenching cries?

Well darling don't you worry
I'm use to it, leave in a hurry
Don't you care
Even though I'm to broken for prayer

I guess I just want to say
I love you still to this day
I'm sorry for what I have done
And I hope your pain is gone

I hope it is not consuming you
And without me, you'll make it through
But it's taking over me
I'm beginning to lose sight, I can not see

And my final days
Are just a daze
For I have spent them on my own
Oh how I hate this heart of stone

But it's going to pass
I'm breaking my own glass
It's time to say goodbye
Let this heart and soul fly

Marlanna: I had alot of fun working on this piece with you, although it didn't take long, it was a fun time:D
