SHYNESS.

by Pink Romance   Nov 12, 2008

When I was very small
The reason I was shy was because I hated noise.

I hated violence and fighting,
You may think, oh what a world peace girl.

But growing up I was sick
Of not being believed in,
Getting picked on at play time.

Everyday I try to make sense of it but I was just too quite.
I never said anything because
I always noticed who would actually listen, and do the right thing?

Staying quite was the only thing I knew best.
Until I got a little older and meet poeple I never seen before.

Conviencing my mother that
I should say something, I hated it.

But I knew it was to make me
Stand out in the world, so each day I spoke a little more.

I tried not to say the things I held side for when I was a kid, but sooner or later they just come out.

Even when I told someone
It was too late, simply cause
It had already happen to me.

Even today I wish I could just go back and make a difference, but I am now older and just like everyone else.

To me and that child left behind.
