Booty Call

by -Choke-On-MY-Halo-   Jul 1, 2014

Past midnight, everyone slumbering
A text message wakes me up
"Hey baby ya wake"
Sucker for kindness I answer
This obvious booty call

She don't care bout me
She cares only that I can ease her
suffering
It's a dirty job I despise
The way I'm always there
For her pleasure never mine
Give and take that's what it should be
Yet this byotch didn't get
The memo for all booty calls right

An hour later I feel dirty as
Freakin hell a shower that's the cure
She lays on the bed content
There's no love here
No matter what she's a good lay
Snickering I let myself out
Cuz that's the life of a booty call
byotch

For not being the kind of poem I generally read it is decent. The intro was decent even though it didn't have too much of an pull the way some of your others have. The underlying disgust at first became the center of this piece and gave this piece a lot more personality. A decently written piece all in all.

I like this. It is very blunt and honest. A lot of people have booty calls and go through this. I like the way you wrote this as well. The wording is great. After midnight is a great line because that's when everyone is usually asleep so anything can happen. A lot of people are a sucker for kindness and want to please another person as well. Anyway this is a nice story overall.
