Comments : Surviving Christmas

  • This poem totally took my breath away. It's sad when you realize there are people out there who don't have the luck that other people have. Great job at explaining the feeling. 5/5<---wish I could give it more!

I really like the thought and premise behind your poem. The message of christmas does get lost in commercialism and we do have to stop and think of everyone who is going without.

    Who don't have a tree
    Not even four walls
    The one's who don't ask
    For bikes or for dolls

I assumed "falls" was supposed to be walls, this is just an example to tighten the flow of this stanza a bit.

Stopping the rhyme in the 3rd and 4th stanza threw me off a bit, but nice work. Thanks so much for entering.

Everyone doesn't look at things like that. It's good to know someone looks for the interest in others. Great job. 5/5

I like where youre going with this but I do think you add a whole lot more to it. It seemed unfinished. I liked what you had to say was left wanting more. *4/5*
