Christmas is a joyous time,
A time for fun and laughter,
Still it causes you to realize...
Have I done everything I wanted to?

Have I sent all my gifts to the right people?
Have I tidied my home enough?
Will I look well-groomed for the Christmas Party tonight?
Or will the whole day fall apart?

The thoughts and feelings are easily erased as you stare into the pure white snow,
Inches and inches piled outside,
You lie reassured.

You come home from the party in a happy mood-
Christmas spirit is in full bloom,
As the clock in your living room strikes 12,
You smile again knowing...
Next year will come again,
Better. Than Ever.
