The Bloody Romance

by Alice   Feb 19, 2010

On this day of lovers' bliss
I'm hear to die without a kiss
Your face so smooth and charming
Wasn't even a bit alarming
You held my hand and kissed my cheek
And now my heart has sprung a leak
Mangled limbs and broken bones
Left to scream and echo moans
The pool of blood within my chest
Slowly drains from out my breast
Once a steady beating heart
You came to me and played your part
Killing my ideals of a man in white
Striking me down in the red light
Missing the days of our last dance
Left to remain in our bloody romance
