Ode To Plath

by Tsukuyomi   Feb 22, 2010

Born in 1932 were you
Into the Depression you came
Setting the stage of your existance

You tried your hardest
Father dying when you were just eight
But you just couldn't bare the weight
Living up to him was but a dream
Or so it would seem

You tried to take your life many a time
Each time tacking on another purple heart
You were not meant to leave just yet
However you finally succeded
The year? 1963, February to be exact

You did not die in vain dearest Plath
Your work inspires millions
Your daughter, continues in your foot steps
Be proud, Be Happy
Dearest Plath

(Quick Ode to Sylvia Plath for School, yes I know it sucks. It also took all of 3 minutes.)
