Fatherhood

The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step
You have embarked on a remarkable journey of life
There comes a time in a mans life when nothing he does matters anymore
Because he becomes defined by his unyielding and resilient devotions
He will inevitably become devoted to his wife and children- his family
A father is the pillar of hope wherein the family will stand

Expect tremendous challenges from this new lifetime you will face
There will be auspicious times of joy and yet joyful tears of happy times to come
Only sadness is but the beginning of trials to pass your way
But take courage in that you no longer fight alone
You have chosen for God to bless you with a decent life partner
Therefore never waver to fall before mans evil but rise with your head up high

Look into your childs eyes and you will see your lifes work
All that you have accomplished will remain to be their inheritance
And all your failures to have been a shadow of blessings to come
As altogether a reflection of the perfection we seek from our Lord Jesus
But nowhere can we seek to find perfection than in a childs eyes
Since therefore Gods glory is manifested in your offspring

Fatherhood is the hardest profession in the entire world
Yet its rewards will fill your days with most profound and enchanting tales
Along with the tiresome yet blissful memories of worries, fears and tears
Dont conceal your emotions, rather dignify and share in their purpose
That way you will Rule your house with an iron fist (...metaphor)
In the end your lifes efforts in building your kingdom will not have been fruitless

Every Journey Must End, What Matters Is That It Ends With a Smile
