To a loving Father...

From the very beginning
you have been a true
soul mate for mother,
between the fights
tears and laughter I see
a loving husband and father,

Never have said no to
mother's wishes or dreams
stood tall in all her struggles,
from her words you drew
strength to always win
with less obstacle to juggle,

As you move ahead this year
with unforgettable memories
and a soul's missing heart beat,
I whisper in God's tender ear
to give you health and strength
so life's woe you can defeat

    This was really lovely to read, I felt I could relate this to my own father in the description of how pure and deep their love was. I think it offers a little happiness and hope in what you wish for your father, and you have gave us a little glimpse that he may be sad and lonely somewhat because he has lost his love, his life, and I guess this poem is also showing him that he can still love and be loved by his children.

    Meena, this is so nice and I am sure you father will love it. It will show him that you did notice and knew the love he had for your mother and that you know how much he misses her now. I too hope his computer gets fixed soon so he can read this, he will be happy and proud I think.
