Now That You Are 60

by peggy boone   Aug 12, 2014

Now that you are 60:
you find that your teeth are taken out more than you are.
Now that you are 60:
you find that you believe in the hereafter. Many times during the day, you go into any part of the house. You stop, scratch your head; and ask yourself," Now what did I come in here after?"
Now that you are 60:
you find hair on the floor and you don't have a dog or cat.
Now that you are 60:
your body wears out before your clothes do.
Now that you are 60:
you find yourself believing in the "Three P's" Pills, Polident and Preparation H.
Now that you are 60:
the only thing you haven't lost, is your sense of humor.
Now that you are 60:
you can forget all of the things you did not forget earlier.

I hope these words,
don't make you mad.
For you are the best cousin,
I've ever had.
I hope your day is special in every day,
as my wishes are sent to you on your 60th birthday.
