Roses are not red

by Sinister Soire   Feb 15, 2006

Roses are red
Violets are blue
I'm stuck on you
But what can I do

It's the holiday of love
And the colors are bright
People are friendly
Some staying the night...

A festive tradition
Of giving much hope
Showing you care
While being a dope

Well tradition wins out
Over my mind
So I must give up
And be always kind.

    Hello.
The title was VERY catchy, really made me want to see your point of veiw on things, I liked it.

Each stanza had a constant flow and was short, but powerful and showed your emotions. Just how a poem is supposed to be.

You put a bit of humer into it, which was excellent, While being a dope really made me laugh :P

In real life, I say don't give up..Fight for what you believe in but..Valentines day does suck, and many give in onn it.

Well done, This poem was interesting.
