We Couldn't Have Done it Without You

by Taylor Renee   Jun 11, 2006

We dedicate this poem
To the parents that we love
For they were always there for us
So tender and beloved

We remember all those times
The ones you miss so much
Dress-up, Barbie, Power Rangers
And even double deutch

With every tender, loving kiss
Before we went to bed
You gave us that sense of security
The one that doesn't need to be said

And even though it's come the time
For us to graduate
Every book, every kiss, every pat on the back
Won't be any less great

Though at times it may seem
We don't appreciate what you do
Consider our words when we say,
"We couldn't have dont it without you."

Ok, I wrote this poem for our parent recognition speech for my graduation. I don't know if it's any good, so I thought I'd put it on here to get some feedback. So comment if you want and please rate accordingly. Also if you have any suggestions just write them in the comment space. :D thanks
