On That Dreadful Day

by Katie   Sep 16, 2007

Our flag still flew
When those towers burned
It flew through the flames
It flew through the smoke
It even flew through the rubble
On Manhattan's floor

Our country changed that day
We really became one
On that dreadful day
We fought back
We've never been the same since
And we'll never be that way again
