Notifications?

Ok so I noticed that my poem had 4 new comments on it, but I didn't get any new notifications for it. It won the weekly contest and it's on the front page and it went from 25 comments to 29.. but no notifications telling me I got a new comment.

Why did this happen? Any ideas?

Most likely a glitch in the system. We are also working on a lot of new implementations, so it could be something that we are doing that affects something else. If it happens again please let one of the Moderators know.
