I like 'Love After Love' by Derek Walcott and 'Half Caste' by John Agard.

Not the most famous poems, I know, but we studied them at school and these are the poems that opened my eyes to poetry, and made me join this site :D

I really like Emily Dickenson, Poe, and Robert Frost.

I like poetry about whats going on. They just tell it how it is, and poetry full of life experiences.

Have you ever read the poem "Mr. Finch's Playground"? If not, then I suggest that you do...it's twisted and morbid...and I LOVE it! Haha. Well, I very much adore Edgar Allan Poe, Nicole Mecham, and of course, Dr. Seuss(:

Keats, Percy Bysshe Shelley, Blake and Poe are just sublime. Guess I have a 'thing' for Romanticism, eh?

I like Sylvia Plath as well. My favorite poem by her is probably "Daddy".. it is so full of emotion, that it's actually kind of hard to read without getting overwhelmed by it.
