Something Silly but fun

Sometimes if I'm listening to or more accurately singing along to a song I change the words, especially if I know the song and tune well. I'll be honest sometimes it can be quite crude but not always.

Anyway I'm gonna write something bellow, just one stanza, the idea being you all jump on and write the next one. I think it would be fun to see where we can take it.

The stanza you write has to contain the lyrics from a song and it must somehow link to the previous stanza but it doesn't have to be from the same song. Try to keep it light hearted and let's have a giggle. So jump on in the waters lovely.

    Here we go,

    (Example but we start bellow,
    There's a star man
    waiting in the sky
He'd like to come and meet up
    But to busy eating pie)

    ____________________________

    Fly me to the moon
And let me swim around the stars
    Bugger that it's Saturday
    I'm hitting clubs and bars

    gotta change the tune
    the man from Mars,
    he's eatin' bars,
    don’t drink today
    he’ll make you pay

    But never pay the reaper
    For its a heavy cost
Drill a hole in his boat
    The bony bugger lost

And if I had a boat
I'd go out on the ocean
    and if the reaper came
in that leaky boat of his
I'd take him on my boat
we could sail on the ocean
    the reaper upon my boat

If I sailed an unknown ocean
I may become so lost its true
But perhaps one day I'll find myself
On the seven seas of blue

I found myself in a sea of busy places,
in a world of blurry faces
I found myself, on the edge of insanity,
    I found, I found me
    but just as quickly
    I lost the tide
    and washed up
    on the shore of unknowing

    Of myself I unknowing
Not quite sure what I should be
I never thought I'd find myself
    Somewhere under the Sea.
