What i wanted

by rosey   Apr 28, 2013

Thinking, sighing,
twiddling your thumbs.
Wondering, pondering,
what your gonna say.

Whining, pouting,
thinking that your dumb.
Screaming, crying,
lost in every way.

Gazing, searching,
Seeking out your face.
asking myself,
why I'm waisting my time.

Longing, craving,
needing your embrace.
To calm me, soothe me,
cradled in your arms.

I need you, want you,
you are mines to keep.
you promised you would only,
give your heart to me.

But then I saw you, I know,
you didn't think I'd find out?
Your lies they hurt me,
inside and out.

I'm here, outside,
I see you there with her.
the pain, it hurts,
but soon it is to end.

I look down, its dark,
the drop is far I know.
My feet, on the edge,
they plunge forward, I let go.

My eyes, they’re closed,
and somehow I feel free.
Before I hit the ground, I hear you cry.
But not for her...
for me.
