So Much To Say

by C Cattaway   Jul 4, 2017

So much to say.
Thoughts buzzing around my head.
Flitting. Itching.
Catch the silence instead.

A messy mind.
Memories changing with anger.
Caught between a star and a lagoon.
Realising how nobody could stand her.

Forgotten laughs, and remembered rows.
Finished sentences.
Unforgiving, and relentless,
The misinterpretation of the entrances.

Shy, or flamboyant.
Arrogant or embarrassed.
Nobody seeing what's there,
Only assuming. No more niceness.

Pretending. Judging.
Laughing perhaps? No more
Will they have an opportunity
To push me to the floor.

So much to hide.
Still unsure how to say.
So many thoughts left to dwindle.
Head up high, girl, come what may!

Loved this piece. No one quite understands how it feels to have a busy mind unless you have one. Well captured x

So much to say and yet so unsure...this poem really expressed that message well. A great write and it's so great to read from you.
