Haunting story I can't get out of my mind. The phrasing and the rhyming contributes to this unique feeling. I picture it well. Great write as always!

Wow Ben! Epic! Spooky, ghostly, haunting and gave me goosebumps! You really took us with you on this beautifully woven story and ended it with an 'ooh' moment! Love it and nominated :-) x

As I was reading this, I thought it could have gone one of two ways, either she was dead or the narrator was. Either way, it was gripping from start to finish. Very Lovecraftian.

    This is absolutely epic Ben

I Love the way you weave the story and keep us all gripped. That you did so while keeping the rhyming is testament to your abilities

Ben, this is the best of the best poems you have ever penned I believe! The mix of melancholy, sadness and mystery are expertly woven together holding the reader in a trance, then an ending worthy of a best selling Novel! A winner in my book for sure!
