Damn Ben, hard hitting in such a beautiful form. Are we destined to completely destroy this earth and cover it in concrete? I sure hope not!

Me too, Brenda but I've got a bad feeling we may learn too late.

OMG what is this? Where did this come from? There so much destruction happening, mother nature is withering.
    This is beautiful and original!

Makes you angry, doesn't it? In honesty, I can't claim to ever having been any sort of activist but I was watching what the Brazilian government has been doing to the Amazon and I just couldn't believe the naivety. I suppose that inspired this mostly.

It does make me angry and frustrated. I cant say I’m an activist too. What’s happening to the Amazon is not having the attention it should. Well not only the Amazon of course.
Also I believe this year we could feel the climate changes, and it is starting to become scary. I could go on and on but I will stop here :)

OMG Ben thank you for sharing. You did an fantastic job and straight from the heart. Mother Nature is bleeding and expressing her pain in so many ways and still humankind is determined to destroy some more. It is heartbreaking. Glad to see it nominated. All the very best to you

Okay, Ben, to be honest, when I saw this poem posted and I was at work, I wasn't sure if I should open it and read it there lol from the title!

This seriously stirred my heart. How often human greed and lust for power overwhelms the beauty and purity of what has given us life. There are so many visuals in this, both gorgeous and saddening, and how I wish we could all live as minimalistic as possible, only using what we absolutely need to survive. It makes me think of those who grow their own gardens, make their own clothes, and find the most creative ways to reuse everyday objects.

I wish for more awareness, for more understanding how much we are destroying. It can start small, we can take little steps, but it's first about acknowledgment and appreciation, knowing there is more than our wants and needs.

Love this so much!! Thanks for sharing what needs to be heard.
