I like the way your laugh sounds,
And the way your face lights up.
I like the way you smile,
And how you talk in to your cup.
I like the way you listen
So I know you really heard.
I like the way you chat
About the things that you prefer.
I like the way you walk
And how your shoulders huddle in.
I like the way you use your hands
To add embellishing.
I like the way you draw,
And how your pages fill with colour.
I like how much your family means,
And how you praise your Mother.
I like how well you know yourself.
I wish that you knew me.
I wish you had an interest,
So that we could try, and see.
I don't know what you're looking for,
When finally you do,
But how I wish that it was me,
Coz goodness! I like you!

Ah, alas, he has said he isn't ready for anything, & the way he said it, I take that to mean he's not interested in me.. but never mind. I've had a rollercoaster of a few years (which I know you've travelled with me, as you've seen my poems over the years! Haha), so being single is good for me. Lonely, though. But it's a pity.. I really do like him!
Hope you're well. Thank you, as always, for your comment x
