Dear Perfect,

by Evi   Oct 18, 2019

If you think I'm lonely,
Then you are correct.
The monsters that you killed
I will soon resurrect.

And if you're sad
You don't have to be.
The snow in my summers,
You weren't supposed to see.

But now you removed the light,
Left me to freeze .
You had with no mercy.
Return my life to me, please...

Were we not enough
To fill your perfect heart?
Even if for this act
I had to work so hard?

Goodbye, then
Have a safe trip.
Ignore your perfect misery.
As you always did.

Your perfect anger
And your perfect lies.
Your perfect promises,
Your perfect goodbyes.

It has been a pleasure,
Imperfect.
