What can one possibly say after reading this? I wanted to exhale after reading this, something intimate yet bittersweet. Though I wasn't sure if "winter's breath stole THROUGH" was the most eloquent way to phrase it (I really haven't heard "stole through" used before though), I enjoyed the brevity as it's something different than I'm used to seeing from you. The "and froze" being the ending lines, two words, that capture an ending. A breath halted, and you're left in the wake of the memories.

Thanks, MA and thank you for the honesty. You made me wonder about it but I'm fairly sure it's a turn of phrase as in to do something sneakily/quickly/quietly. Take care and all the best as ever.
