Sorry

It’s a little bit funny this feeling inside,
When you’re broke and cast aside
Spending life never knowing who
Are your real friends and who will leave you?
Why spend so much time on making relations,
For you can never know people’s true intentions!
How to live? And why do we go through it?
Is there a manual to life or should we just wing it
Is it the Bible, the Torah, the Quran?
Some people think it’s Buddha some don’t have a plan
What should we do? Who should we trust?
All valid questions and just
But these issues come to us late
Did you ever think it’s merely a gate?
As human beings, we have to cross!
I sit here casting away the moss
While writing these verses of confusion
Thinking only of our mind and body fusion
Why did you leave? Why did you go?
Life isn’t the same anymore, just go
Black silky hair, dangling on her shoulders
Lines of poetry about her, I have folders
None can describe with certain accuracy
How wonderful she is and how fast she can flee
But nowhere to run, nowhere to hide
Games I do not play, not a child
Grown up, crossed the river of despair
Now, I don’t have one; I have more than a pair
So leave me alone, and don’t bother me anymore
Sorry! It’s a little late, and it’s becoming a bore.
