How with such abundant rivers you speak
And murmuring your uttered words do sound,
Within your hair, countless falls slide and seek
Upon your shoulder's tinted bloom be found.
How your eyes a limitless space convey
Where countless stars all the heed they steal,
Tell me then how, upon your cheeks buds stay
All year long in mid spring lively appeal.
How can your fresh lips, in all ripe fruits glow
And pour sweetness across your mild chin
To your neck, that softly does glide and flow
Down to where I write oft, with my own skin.
Shall I have you, as much as I desire?
Or continent shall I be, nigh your fire?
