Dear Ben thank you so much for sharing this sad truthful piece. I have lived through 6 decades but this is the most heartbreaking and devastating one. The world itself has not changed the people however destroying nature. What they don't realize we need nature to survive. Especially trees and water and species are slowly dying. I feel at times that I just don't fit in anymore. If there is not a drastic change coming the whole world is doomed. I could go on but it upsets me . All the very best Ben to you.

I couldn't agree more, Dagmar. The world is in a pretty poor state, isn't it?
Take care and thank you for reading.

    Hello Ben,
What a wonderful sonnet. Your command of this most difficult form of verse is to be admired. A devastating and harrowing subject represented in a beautiful poetic style. Very well done indeed.
    Regards, Tony.
