broken turbine

by Daniel   May 28, 2020

the clouds traverse
phalanxes of street lamps
across the river

the window is murky
my lenses are dirty

you found your wings
after you kissed me
goodbye

and almost missed your
stop

there are five wind
turbines across the
tracks

and one of them is
broken.

Although this is simple I could picture this place. And it is so sad, like it’s a visit of the spirit of a loved one who passed.
    “you found your wings
    after you kissed me
    goodbye”

    Yet there is some comfort!!
    Really beautiful :)
