A Loving Part Rhyme

by Lost star   Aug 19, 2020

I remember how the moonlight
blushed your face,

Your smile

Scattering Stardust waves that flowed like my fingers through your hair ....

In that moment, I was home;

The stormy waters my soul sailed on
drew tranquil, calm and
warmed in the colour of your eyes.

A blue I could never forget,
A blue to make nature sigh.

I remember the breath just before
our lips met, the sound
of your heart whispering to mine.

The spark that lit the flame
that still burns yet,
the woman who’s graceful,
loving and kind.

I remember her scent stopping
all space and time, hypnotic
and sultry as summer jazz tones,
serenading my senses so sublime,
her name forever etched on my bones.

She is my every thought and deed...

The one for which I would bleed...

The one who's never pretending...

She’s my stories happy ending...
