Hollow (acrostic)

by Lost star   Mar 20, 2021

How long does it have to be?
Overflowing with echos of
Lost love like water through fingers,
Longevity seems as distant as
Orion, the irony not lost on me,
When my heart failed, again.

Aside from this being a mesmerisingly written acrostic, for me, this is a huge coincidence! For my schoolwork two days ago, I wrote an acrostic of my choice and I chose . . . Predictably, 'hollow'!

Thank you Keira for stopping by and having a read I'm glad you liked it, I have to admit to hating English when I was a youngster it wasn't until later in life I found a love for poetry lol randomness and irony is for the most part the way of the world!
