call me pluto
the sorriest planet
fist fighting gravity
to revolve around you
guess i’m saying that
i’m just trying to circle
closer to your heartbeat
if that’s okay

here i am now
howls to the moon
with liquid courage
holding onto that 8%
left to be the asteroid
chaotically free falling
towards the side of
your bed

you are space
and everything between
galactic but catalystic
i am a t rex now
digging in the garden
extinct at the concept
of your gracious velocity
you can dig up my bones
inside your room

and i can’t express
how many women promised
to take me to museums
in my life
yet in light of the stars
(oaks of your eyes)
i realize that
i could only make
a museum out of you

guess that’s just
plutonically signed

Everything about this piece I love. The inclusion of Pluto and references, the significance of museums at the end, that desire to be closer and the intensity in which you write. LOVE THIS!
