Pains Of Age

by Jemia de Blondeville   Dec 14, 2021

Super cramp
And sciatica
Sweet dreams
Waiting to happen
Whilst writhing
Is not a happy pastime
I want to sleep
Not weep
I'm not suffering terribly
Just terribly uncomfortable
Sufficient to keep me awake
And feel the misery
But knowing
That as i age
Things won't improve
I was just on the cusp
Of sleep
The periphery of my dreams
With pains of an different ilk
Not on my derriere
Or cramping my feet
And style
Something afoot
For awhile

thanks Milly, i'm in denial of my age, i'm not quite ancient yet 65 now, but told everyone on my 50th that i'm taking a year of aka now 35, my head likes this, but my body sometimes reminds of the reality! lol x
