I'm glad for all the memories.
You welcomed me right in
To all the confidences which
Could easily have been

Quite difficult to share with me.
I hope you've found your peace,
Coz life was getting hsrder,
And i know you weren't at ease.

But you have found your little girl,
Ten years, your heart unhealed,
And now, with open arms embraced
You're back, with love fulfilled.

Dear Ann, you made my years simpler.
You knew I loved you back.
You treated me like any other
Daughter. I loved that.

Thank you for the times we laughed;
Macrame still unfinished.
Your family live on, & so
Your memory's not diminished.

A legacy. Grandchildren. Greats.
You left us keen, not yearning.
Don't say goodbye. We'll meet agsin.
