It Starts Again - Immortal Genesis

Mmm...
From dust below, from halls above,
The world remembers ancient blood.
A broken law, a trembling flame,
The hidden hands return by name.

He walks beneath the rain alone,
With heaven folded in his coat.
A paper leaf, a borrowed light,
A soul restored inside the night.

The demons run, the thunder speaks,
The mountains open, kingdoms bleed.
And far beyond the mortal eye,
The scales awake beneath the sky.

One step in shadow,
One step in gold.
One door forgotten,
One oath retold.

It starts again,
The fire and the rain.
The sword descends,
The dead remember names.

Let Heaven rise,
Let darkness call its kin.
The balance breaks,
The war begins again.

He smiles beneath a crown of smoke,
With blackened wings and ancient jokes.
A feast is laid, the powerful kneel,
But even kings know fear is real.

In Rome a gate begins to burn,
In blood a sleeping queen returns.
The bells awake, the rivers glow,
And every hidden mark is shown.

One hand brings water,
One hand brings flame.
One voice calls Jean,
One voice calls shame.

It starts again,
The fire and the rain.
The sword descends,
The dead remember names.

Let Heaven rise,
Let darkness call its kin.
The balance breaks,
The war begins again.

A little soup, a tired man,
A story placed inside his hand.
No crown, no throne, no holy sign,
Just one small leaf to move all time.

And God looked down,
And Max stood still.
The heavens shook
Before His will.

My will...
Be done.

It starts again,
The fire and the rain.
The sword descends,
The dead remember names.

Let angels march,
Let ancient sinners grin.
The balance turns,
The war begins again.

One leaf has fallen...
One scale has moved...
Your move, Velion...
It starts again.
