A bone chilling experience this poem was but it was stupendous like above the daily froth kind of poem.

Moon, my dearest friend and lover,
Yours is the only light I can see!
But the bright of your pale white cover
Still holds no warm touch when it touches me...

It's a great start the way establish certain things and the flow is just awesome.

Can it be real?
Am I truly dead,
though still wandering in the shades of a life?
This cold coffin will forever be my bed
and you, pale moon, my sweet companion and wife...

The feeling of a lone wolf who has nothing left to live for he's alive yet dead living in a cucoon or a coffin of his own make with no one but the moon at his side. Wow!
It's just bang on how you hit the emotional chord and how graceful this transmission of emotion is regardless how painful the emotions are.

They're over, the sleepless days, for me,
The sun's my most cruel enemy...
So, how can you, fair moon, hold such a love
For my merciless killer, shining up above?

And yet I feel a pain an agony that the only love of my life is a traitor for she draws what I seek from the man who drove me into this coffin not by words but by action .

Now I roam all alone in the dark corners of night
awaiting for my prey, away from every sight...
When I drain a fair body, my lonely heart cries
and you can see, queen of night, the tears in my eyes...

So now I am alone preying on the innocent,the artless oh how lucky they are they don't feel this pain burning inside driving me to this madness.
I feel this poem is just wonderful I wish I had nominator status I would have nominated it in a second. (I hope my interpretations match yours and if not please inform me so.)

I liked the style you used to write this poem, the flow kind of had a unique way about it, and I enjoyed the read. The description of the moon, and the relation to it throughout the poem was well written.
