Oh Guinea pig, this is awesome.

How inspiring and touching, I think the fact you mentioned the children in the end and how innocent they are, and how they have to grow, come to accept the world, deal with the good and the bad, and become adults.

Your wording was really great, a few parts really wowed me, like the fragile flowers, I think just adds to the scene with the children. Then the choice of wording when you say "worthy"... this reminded me when people just expect things, like they should deserve them free, when really we should be earning things and being grateful for anything we achieve and accomplish.

I like how honest this poem is also, in how the insecurity lurks in the background, kind of like your belief and faith in life sometimes passes you by, but you know deep down it is there, you just have to not hide from it, and close your eyes to it like what we do.

    Very inspiring poem, uplifting.

Love what you done with the prompts, well done.

I truly felt like I was growing wings while reading this poem. Maryanne has a unique way of splashing color, life and elegance within her poetry and this piece is at the top of her list!
This life inspiring poem is filled with unique word display and visuals that left me spellbound.

"Summon my bones" <--------- very powerful line here.. That got me thinking on so many different angles.

I truly feel this poem ties in nicely with Martin Luther King's quote " I have a dream" and if he were alive today I think he would agree with me! It's an uplifting piece.. Just lovely!
