Beautiful Liar (Balassi)

by Ashleigh Skye   Jun 30, 2008

Each word was like a song
said to string me along
down the paths shadowed with hate,
blinded by your green eyes,
to your malicious lies,
devil waiting at the gate,
a beautiful smile,
was always your style,
and failure always your fate.
