    This is outstanding. Very meaningful and left toughts running through the mind. The very first Stanza caugh my attention.
    "How old are you really?
    Are you young with an old mind,
    or old, but just joining the world?
    Have you seen wars,
    filled with grief and pain;
    or seen new lights,
    captivating new eyes".
    All i can say you'd great imagination. As the saying goes, " age is nothing but a number", most times it's so true. As you've said "Are you young with an old mind,
    or old, but just joining the world", sometimes it's hard to believe a person age when you're flattered by things that they'd said. You are an example, for your age writing a poem like this, so meaningful i would ask the same question you asked. Are you young with an old mind? I'd just change the old to older. Very well done. It merits more than 5/5, kel.

    Krista,

    I love the idea behind this poem, really deep.
    Yes, some poeple live such superficial lives that they are still babies when they are already grand parents ( I know some, lol)
    What counts is how you make the years count, living a meaningful life and fill it with usefull memories.
    A thought provoking poem, good job!

    Hugs,

    5/5 Ingrid
