    Congrats on the win Jane.

I really enjoyed reading this piece by you.

    Deluded, I fall,
    under blankets of memory
    still cradling, though
    time - time, the unforgiving.

My favorite part !!!! Love the insertion of time-time ... the pause between words really makes the reader stop - and think.

    Very touching piece indeed!

    Jane,
I am quite impressed by this piece, and i'd like to say well done of winning the challenge. This was a deserving piece and I definitly enjoyed it from start to finish..

    My favorite part:

    "No,
    old age, do not dare!
    treason to my fading
    heart, you would steal his
    illustrious scent from me.
    no,
grief waits at the door of such loss..."

The tone throughout this poem was of such elegance and i'm fond of the way you wrote this acrostic. A lovely love poem which held ache yet was penned beautifully. Well done.
