Aww.. this poem is sad but really nicely written. I enjoyed it. I like how the beginning starts with waking up, and the idea of being alone, and missing someone is evident throughout this poem. I think it was a really good collaboration, you two should collaborate more. The flow of the poem is great and well-written :)

I like the ending, but I'm a bit confused... is the idea that the person in this poem is dying and that's why he/she says "leave me in your past" ? Is the first two stanzas the "woman" and the last two "the man" .. I just want to make sure I've interpreted it well!

Anyway greaatt job you two!!

You blend together really nicely, the flow here was really good, it kind of made me think about the men and women in the armed forces who are seperated from their partners,
a really well penned piece full of sadness.

-This is a painful stanza telling someone you love to leave them in the past.

This is a sweet cute hurtful poem. wanting them to be the one you hear when all you get is a gun fire. I can see this in my head.

I think that this is a well written poem. I wasn't able to tell which parts have been written by who. The feelings in this poem are really powerful and I actually like flow and rhyme.
