    "You often catch me
    unexpectedly,
    apron painted like Pollock's art,
    cake batter smudged
    upon my skin."
That is my favorite stanza out of the three. This is, indeed, a great poem, but that stazna draws my attention. Love the feelings in this poem. Great job :) ((5))

There is a great deal of love and affection in this, you have cleverly interwoven this with a simple task of cake making.
Love the flow, the tone and emotion.
I agree with harlea the first stanza really sucks you in.

I agree with Darren, there is a lot of love and affection.
I like the descriptive language you have constructed this poem to have, it allows me to be able to see it all come to life when I read every word.
Every stanza is unique yet all links well to this theme of making a cake.
The emotion of love and happiness really sets the scene.

    Thankyou for sharing great talent
    enjoyed every bit

The love and passion within this one had me smiling, I like the words you have chosen within this piece as well it makes it stronger overall. It is enjoyable to see people use a wider rang of vocabulary. Great emotion swirling throughout this piece.

Oh Temps, this is just so YOU! I love how you reference cakes and aprons and all things bakery :) It makes me picture you and the person you're talking of playing around at work having food fights like little kids haha

I love the use of unexpectedly-isn't that when our "Private moments" are the most meaningful and cherished? When we're not expecting something and our loved one does something, whether it's romantic or even just a silly word or gesture...it's what makes those moments unique to each relationship.

Honestly, when I first saw the title you asked to be commented I assumed it was going to be something cliche and referencing paradise and such (And yes I'm guilty of that, too) How very glad I was to be proven wrong! I find this whole poem to be beautifully scripted, filled with lovely imagery and emotion and the fact you reference cakes and baking as I said is just..icing on the cake? haha! Because it adds YOU to it.

    Lovely.
