Rusty! Oh my...this is awesome! I love this. Wow, you did a really brilliant job here, what a beautiful, challenging message!

1/ This perfectly illustrates how society defines us people! Sad to know but, people always judge! Worse, when they see something wrong with you, they like to talk about how wrong you are.

2/ People will always say something about our situations, but clearly, like the man and his wife here, it is still our decision to hold on to what we believe is right.

3&4/ The cruel reality that makes me really sick. People always abuse what they have. And in the end, maybe regret about it.

5/ This speaks a lot, being impotent, just like being blind, deaf, mute...society defines us by whatever we are in its eyes...but see, who is really the impotent? We have eyes but aren't we the ones who are blind? We have ears but how long have we been deaf to others? And we can speak but sometimes we abuse this.

A really great write, Rusty. And I have been saving my last nomination, guess I have to use it now. :-)

P.S. I followed Em's format in breaking this by stanza. Thanks, Em. :-)

So glad to read your comments. Especially the way you brought it down to each stanza. Much appreciated. Thank you Mel Liz.

I really liked this a lot. People judge others for all the wrong reasons. I mean, they shouldn't be judging at all but just because someone can produce for whatever reason it doesn't make them a good person. A lot of food for thought with this-

As an infertile woman sometimes treated less than for not being able to be a mother, this ripped my heart apart. This is so heartbreaking and beautiful and sad. Such a stirring piece.

Sorry to know what you've been through Britt. Sadly this is how the world treats such people.
Thanks for your comment. Take care.

Heartbreak to see such horrible things are happening in the society and we can't help those who are going through the suffering.

I think the society is becoming impotent by not taking actions against such things.

    It should stop immediately.

    Nice message you gave.
    Optimistic!
