How interesting that weather coordinates the circumstances of our personal lives and feelings. ( at least in poetical realm)

I like the repetition here Dagmar as it really emphasises the gravity of what's been seen and the feelings it's evoked.

I'm with Kitty: the repetition is an excellent poetic tool here; it's thoroughly effective. Coupled with the rather sad content, the pounding rain complements the piece very well.
