    Such sad but yet beautiful piece. It saddens my heart when as you get older people have to live such agony and it hurts when they can't remember anything. It is heartbreaking. All the best to you hugs

    This reminds me a little of Christina Rossetti's 'Remember Me', in content if not in style. Perhaps it's better that people forget entirely when they get to that point than have brief and teasing moments of clarity that only sadden them and all those around even further. Of course, I understand it would be best if the condition was never suffered at all...
    A terribly sad but well written piece.
