This is wonderful! I don't have anything else to say.

This is so intense.... and incredibly dark. I read this a few times to myself, with that clear image in my mind of confessing your sins to yourself. Also, the weight and hold this person has. I think forgiveness at times can seem like an impossible weight to carry, but it is necessary.

This piece scared me in the sense that we can hold on to this person, or this idea/shadow of them, until we don't know what we would be without them. Our identity distorted, gone.
