Whispers Behind My Daughter’s Name

by Golden AnGel Rhapsodist   Apr 3, 2026

Sometimes I step back from words,
not because I am wrong,
but because truth does not need defending against what was never real.

I have heard what was said
how stories were shaped
about my daughter,
spoken as if they were truth.

But a mother knows.
I know the life she lives,
the strength she carries,
and the love that surrounds her.

No distance, no retelling, no careless words
can rewrite what is real.
It’s easy to speak where truth isn’t questioned,
but not everything said is believed the way it was intended.

And not every listener welcomes what feels heavy or unkind.
So I will not argue with noise,
nor chase every lie.

I stand where truth stands
with my daughter.
And that is more than enough.
