Broken friendship...sarah

This poem is for my sarah. I met her on this site and she's the best friend anyone could ever ask for, and well...I miss her...

Like everything in this world
it was too good to be true
i lost a part of me
the day i gave my heart to you

I wish i could bring it back
the laughs, the jokes, the tears
you were my best friend
i thought we'd stay that way for years

but the roads got rough real fast
and you took a different turn
i thought you'd stay forever
I guess I'll never learn

The truth hurts worse than anything
the fact that you're really gone
and even though I'll pretend I'm fine
I never will move on

We stopped talking about
all the problems that we faced
and as sad as it may be
I knew I had been replaced

I really hope you're happy
and the hurt will ease in time
and even if i'm no longer your best friend
you will always be mine

    That's nice. You ryhmed, which makes me happy. A lot of people on this site don't ryhme thier poems which really pisses me off...lol!?! I have had the same problem with two of my best friends too. I never gave up though. It killed me when we stopped being friends. I mean I cried myself to sleep for two weeks straight with one of them. The other one I cried for two days straight, but I could have killed myself for losing that one... You should check out my poems titled "As I lay Choking", "Suicide", and "I, And Then You". Maybe it will help you a little, maybe not. Sorry if it doesn't though.
