Taking The Blame... another for lyss

This is me writing back to a poem that my lyss wrote. I want her to know that none of what she said was true...

I was the stupid one,
I was the one not there,
It was me who never listened,
But I have always cared.

It is me who has hurt you,
It is me who is wrong,
I could have at least emailed you,
But I always listen to our song.

I am the careless one,
I'm who doesn't think,
Now tell me who you think is the one,
That caused this friendship to sink.

I'm the one who has let you down,
But know you will NEVER be replaced,
I'm the one who's not a real best friend,
Yeah, this truth is hard to face.

You have never been selfish,
You have always helped me through,
Please never be sorry like this again,
I will ALWAYS care about you.
