You are the one who set me free
You let me be who I wanted to be
You held my hand through bad times and good
You gave me what no one else could
You showed me love and showed me laughter
You are the book and I am the chapters
You shared your love, kindness and care
You gave me my heart that will never tear
You are the sky so blue
I thank the heavens just for you

I wrote this a long time ago... probably fifth grade... can't remember... that's probably why is SUCKS!!

    This is a sweet simple poem... something that was genuine and true. The only thing I will comment on is "You are the who set me free" should be "You are the the who set me free", other then that, good write. Keep up the good work. Keep writing.
