I loved those two lines.

Beautiful poem. But if it's a false release, then why do we write? The feelings we have may transcend the words we use to describe them, but to get them out as best we can seems to be the release we all crave. Though it does seem as though you're comparing writing to a drug, an addict/poet, can never get enough. That certainly seems true.

This is the most amazing, most wonderful, most perfect poem I have read in AGES. All my life I tried writing something like this, and I never found the talent or was never able to utter the simple words that bring your poem to its brilliance in all it's depth and complexity.
